The War Within: Season 2 Week 1

So, after the first week how did we get on as a guild, and where am I heading into week 2?

So after the first week we ended at 7/8 Heroic and 1/8 Mythic!

Not a bad start at all to the season for the guild, and hopefully we should finish off Ahead of the Curve tonight before heading into Mythic for some more early progression there.

The penultimate boss of the Undermine raid, Mug'zee, turned out to be a lot of fun, but a bit tougher than we expected. However with more people getting 2 and 4 piece tier bonuses this week, that should help push him over that wee bit quicker this week, allowing us to get onto the final boss, Gallywix.

As for Mythic, we jumped into it on Monday night and gave the first boss a go, and it only took us a handful of tries to get it finished off! Typical first boss though, a few mechanical changes from heroic, but nothing too taxing.

The second boss is Cauldron of Carnage, which is the Monkey vs Dino fight boss. Pretty iconic fight and another one that looks like a lot of fun to do on Mythic :)

As for me, I start week 2 with my new 4p bonus already acquired, and 650 ilevel. I didn't do anywhere near as much m+ as my guildies, but I appear to have gotten lucky with what I was able to do, and catalysed 2 heroic pieces, got a curio from normal mode Undermine, then heroic tier legs from my first vault to give me my 4p!

BM's tier piece bonuses this season are very strong, and getting even 2p is a BIG upgrade, and the 4p on top of that is a similar bump up again!

In m+ I managed to do about 9 or 10 runs altogether and got KSM done week 1 with a score of 2138, which I think is a first for me, certainly on my Hunter! Quickest previously was on my monk back in S4 of Shadowlands when Monk was completely OP and very meta, so getting it done week 1 on the hunter is a nice change :)

Delves were another source of gear this week, and I got a couple of heroic pieces from there, notably my tier legs from the Delve row in the vault. That was my only tier option in the vault, and thankfully it wasn't in a slot I already had my 2p in!

So that's me for week 1, here's hoping for AotC tonight and some good early progression in mythic!
